Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist Schedule

May through August, 2010

After Mass New Responsibilities for all EMEs

Clean-Up (in the sacristy behind the altar)

After all masses, clean up wine Chalices and Patten for Father. Pour a little water in each chalice and drink the remaining consecrated wine (if possible); then wash with soap and water. Place chalices back on the small table by the altar and the altar bread plates on the table as you enter church. Place Father’s Chalice and Patten on the offertory table along with the wine and water pitchers (BE SURE TO ADD SOME WATER TO THE SMALL WATER PITCHER). Place used purificators (white cloths) with stains in water container to soak.

AFTER THE 11:00am MASS

	All of the Sacred Vessels, including Father’s Chalice and Patten, the small chalices, altar bread plates and the wine pitcher should be left in the Sacristy.
	Place unconsecrated hosts on the Gathering Space table back in container in the Vesting Sacristy.

NOTE: We will need (2) people to stay after for each of the masses. If your name is bolded and has +CU included, you are on for clean-up that week. Should you get a sub for that particular date, it will be your responsibility to let the sub know they are scheduled for clean-up after mass when filling in for you.

THESE WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE POSTED IN THE SACRISTY FOR YOU TO FOLLOW.
